There are six ways to create an item

Triggers

• Trigger build remotely
  • by refreshing a specific URL (e.g.: by a script)
• Build after other projects are built

Environment

• Delete workspace before build starts
  • Clear all files in the Jenkins runner job path environment e.g.: /var/lib/jenkins/workspace/JavaHelloWorld

E-mail Notification

1. SMTP server smtp.gmail.com
2. Default user e-mail suffix @gmail.com
3. Advanced
4. User Name your_email_adress (from where you want to send your mail)
5. Password your_email_password
6. Check the checkbox Use SSL
7. SMTP Port 465
8. Reply-To Address client_email
9. Test your email adress (to make sure everything works)

In your Jenkins Item configurations

• go to Post-build actions
• add E-mail Notification
